  • McCain has real differences with the based of the Republican party - I think it is refreshing that he is asking Republicans to be critical of themselves.

  • There are real differences between Bush and McCain. True, there are areas where they agree, but it is a huge mistake to say that they are the same. The 2000 Republican primaries clarified (a) these men do not like each other, and (b) they have big areas where they disagree.
